Kiss the Girls

I'm sad that the weekend's nearly over. I'm staying home for what's left of it, gorging on fruit juice to detoxify my self from too much drinking last weekend full excess and more excess.

Friday evening, I met ADHD at CentralWorld to catch The Other Boleyn Girl. I had quite a ball watching the movie, not because it was anything spectacular, but because it's pretty silly. I often asked my self if I was watching a soap opera with lines like:

Mary Boleyn: You know I love him...
Anne Boleyn: Well, I guess you'll have to stop.

Kumusta naman!? That reminded me of:

Alice: Mamamatay ako, Ate, pag kinuha mo sa akin si Alex!
Lorna: Ipalilibing kita.
Alice: Ate, please!
Lorna: Nung inagaw mo sa ’kin si... muntik na rin akong mamatay. Puwes, ikaw naman ngayon ang mamatay.
—Lorna Tolentino and Alice Dixson, Nagbabagang Luha (1988)

Following the movie, I dashed to Club Culture as my friend Martha Graham was also there for the Madonna Tribute Party.

I've always dreamed of attending one of these Madonna nights, but I haven't been to any of the parties organized by Government. And now that I had the chance, I couldn't possibly let it pass.

The thing is, Club Culture is not a gay club at all. It had been my first time in a long, long time to be back at a straight bar, although I could tell that there was a sizable gay crowd of gay men around (like, halerrrr, it's a Madonna party!).

Anyhoot, Madonna was blasting in the cavernous club and in no time I got myself a little piece of heaven, waiting for the time when earth shall be as one... quicker than a ray of light I'm flying. Choz!

While swirling in the madness of the bar, an Eastern European girl (I knew this detail later on) was dancing with me. She actually pulled me up the stage, a first for a little shy boy like moi. Eh di nag show na akez. Hingal, hingal, hingal.

It was raining hard outside when I tried to hail a cab for my building so I opted to go back inside the bar and bumped into the Eastern European girl again. Drunk and exhausted, we danced a bit.

Jusko, in an instant the puta planted her lips on mine! I counted... three seconds. I pulled away when I could feel her tongue prying my lips open. Talak akez: But dahling, I'm gay. Sagot ang puta: I know, I know. Sabay pulling me closer to her and kissing me again. I counted again... three seconds. Tamah nahhhh!!! I pulled away and pouted, and wiped her lipstick off my mouth. She smiled and walked away. Akez, windang moment.

I swear that was the first time my lips touched a girl's. I still cringe every time that kiss haunts me. But honestly, nice pala. Blush.

Saturday afternoon, I met Kiwi at Paragon. We crossed over to Siam Square for his haircut while I milled around.

In the thirty minutes that Kiwi was in the salon, I grabbed a striped shirt, jacket, skinny jeans, and a pair of shoes. I swear, Siam Square is a corrupt place... and I totally love it although my wallet doesn't.

Later in the afternoon, we were at Chatuchak for more shopping. We were already there the previous weekend when we also squandered our Swiss accounts on shirts, which are not really cheap by my standard. I almost always buy second hand clothes in JJ but not for the past couple of weekends.

Yesterday I bought another pair of skinny pants (oh, I'm crazy over the details of those pants... they're simply ferosh!) and two more striped shirts (oh, I'm crazy over striped shirts lately). A girl has to look fabulous, right?

What do girls do on a Saturday evening? Of course PJ and I dragged our fierceness to Silom, where we bumped into Pinays Margie Moran and Singletera. Rampage, rampage, rampage.

Sigh, I cannot believe that the weekend went by so fast. Can't wait for more mindless indulgence next weekend. Gotta detox and recharge for now.

Ayan kasi, eh, tigilan na paglalagay ng lip gloss every now and then, tuloy napapansin ang iyong kissable lips. At wag na muna mag-pout ha, kala nila, lalo na pag lasing, you're asking for a kiss :). Buti na lang, after that kiss, you didn't have a desire to take a hot shower, di ba ganun initial reaction of girls who were taken advantage of?

L: mismo! blame it on the lip gloss.
