Obsession Du Jour: Love Lockdown

I was waiting for The Amazing Race on TV earlier tonight when I switched to Chic Channel, that cheap and unacceptable alternative to Fashion TV in Thailand. But, what choice do I have really? Anyway, they were showing Dolce and Gabbana's Spring-Summer 2009 show, and you know me, give me a bloody fashion show and I'm hooked.

I do not really care so much for Dolce and Gabbana, much less D&G. I was only captivated by the Imelda slash Mini Mouse sleeves and those opulent, shiny fabrics. Those bejewelled belts are also to die for too. But pyjama look for spring? I don't think so.

Meanwhile, the line-up of models is reason enough for me to watch this show. It was opened AND closed by the current ultimate queen of the catwalk, Natasha Poly. Fuck, I worship the ground she walks on. Also in the show are my favorite girls Maryna, Coco, Olga, Alana, Kinga, Vlada, Tanya, Georgina, Karlie, Anja, and Daul. Even unparalleled Maria Carla made an appearance. I had an orgasm, I swear.

This video was on loop on Youtube tonight while I was working on a speech for my boss. And the primary reason is the fucking awesome music. The song's called Love Lockdown by Kanye West and remixed by Chew Fu (watch the Youtube video of the song here). I did not watch the video every time it played but grooving to the music is good enough. It pretty much kept me awake way until past midnight.

You listen na. Now. Na. You don't have to watch the video as well. Do yourself a favor, bitch. Just listen to it. Press play.

The ability to make a dress and have someone wear it.

And feel their feeling of loving it.

I dream of having a fashion show one day.

With this music. :-)
